Shortsighted Architecture is already six months in El Rama, Nicaragua. They have created and shared sustainable solutions with local resources. At the moment the social bambu home is almost finished and students who participated the course have gained their certification. They have given presentations, are invited at a symposium and of course build the model home and the garden with many volunteers and students.
The FNT, Frente Nacional de Trabajadores, is interested in building over 20 social bamboo homes. There’s also potential to produce 200 social bambu homes build by local people and funded by the community!
