Team Ghana has been well on the way to realizing the school complex. After hammering the formwork, welding cages, making custom reinforcement bars and laying plastic sheeting in the gutters, the foundation for building 2 is finally done.
Last Thursday, the time had come, the concrete for the foundation of building 2 could be poured in. Team Ghana started well prepared and with a bit of healthy excitement, now with two concrete mixers. The local Ghanaians also enthusiastically helped, the strongest men from the nearby village helped with the heavy digging and the women with the water supply for the concrete.
In addition to the foundation for the school, a layer of concrete has also been poured into the cesspool, but this was not precision work and so Team Ghana has finished the foundation.
