Hujambo!
Tomorrow it’s time to head to the islands! After a week of preparing the prototype, the testing materials, the interviews and doing pilot tests, we’re all set and ready. On the islands we will dive into the lives of the target group for our solar lamps: the fishermen. We will be busy with observations, interviewing the different stakeholders (fishermen, boat owners, women etc.), do workshops with them, test the prototype and finally go night fishing!
Due to lack of internet connection and sporadic electricity, we won’t be able to send updates from the islands. However, we are super excited to immerse ourselves in the daily life at Lake Victoria and share all the findings the 23th of October!
