Things are going great. We ordered the solar water pump yesterday and it’s already on its way here. I’ll pick it up in Cebu during the weekend. For the pump, we’ll need six 330 W solar modules, for a total nameplate capacity of 2 kW. We will procure them in the island. Tomorrow we’ll take measurements of the area to figure out the best place to install them. I will also fly a drone overhead so we can have a 2D and 3D map and understand the topography of the land. This will help us decide on the best location for the water tank, and also the solar modules, to avoid any shading incident on them.
We expect to finish the installation by the middle of next week!
