Last time we wrote about our visit to a farmer that uses a sprinkler system to water his plants. This time we wanted to look into a more innovated irrigationsystem. In order to do so we visited a company that sells hydoponic systems and their knowledge about these systems.
When using a hydroponic system one needs only a litte soil or none att all, water is used instead to grow the plants. All nutrients needed for the plants are added to this water.
The company we visited sells these systems and educates the people who buy the system. This way farmers will be able to expand their business later on.
It was really nice to learn more about this for us new technology!
