Sadly, this will be our final update as our adventure in Uganda has come to an end. We learned and experienced a lot that cannot just be contained in an update. Therefore, we would like to focus on our final product; the biogas digester at the premises of our office at HS Green Energy Engineering Solutions ltd. From the day they dug the hole in the ground for the gaschamber until the day we left and they started constructing the biotoilet we could see the development from closeby. Now that we are back in the Netherlands, our supervisor is keeping us up to date on the last aspects and the start of the operation. The digester looks very neatly and we have al the confidence that it will be a great plant digester for demonstrations and research. We would like to give many thanks to Students 4 Sustainability to make the construction happen!
