After half a year of preparations we have arrived on Lesvos! When we were still in the Netherlands, we already received bad news from the camp. The camp is being sued by local residents and hotels and the local prefecture wants it to close. The risk of closing is too big and together with the camp we decided not to install the PVs in PIKPA.
Now we are looking for other options to put the PVs together with the organisation Lesvos Solidarity. It is a good thing Lesvos Solidarity has good contacts and the communication is going much faster now we are here on the island.
Today or tomorrow we will be informed by another organisation if it is possible to help them with het PV-system. We have high hopes for it and it will be very useful for that organisation who also helps refugees.
